In January 2009, Steve moved from Charlotte, North Carolina to serve as our Student Life Pastor. His passions are helping students take the next step in their relationship with God, and developing students of influence who will seek and serve Jesus for a lifetime.

Prior to this, Steve served as Campus Student Pastor at the Ballantyne Campus of Next Level Church in 2008 and Student Ministry Pastor at Riverdale Church in Andover, MN from 1995 - 2007.

Steve was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He has a B.A. in Pastoral Studies from North Central University in Minneapolis and received his license to preach in 1995 from the Minnesota District Council of the Assemblies of God. He was ordained in 2002.

A Minnesota Vikings fan since birth, Steve loves sports, music, KFC and quoting movies. Steve and his wife Tracy have the four greatest children on earth. (okay, they're a little biased)!
