Children and Family Ministries sponsors three church wide intergenerational events each year:

Easter Egg Hunt, generally the Saturday before Easter, invites children of all ages to join us for an Easter Egg Hunt, Lenten games, crafts and activities and a light lunch
The 16th Annual Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday, April 8th at 10:30 – 12:00. Join us to see the Easter Story, play games, and the enjoy the infamous Easter Egg Hunt. Hot chocolate will be served. Wrapped candy to be used for stuffing the eggs is needed by Friday, April 4th. Candy donations can be dropped off in the Easter Baskets provided around the church. VBS (Vacation Bible School) reaches out to hundreds of kids in the community. It is one our biggest outreach programs, drawing kids from the entire Somerset Hills area. Children learn about how to spread God’s love through interactive games, music, drama and activities, crafts and friendships.
VBS Finale is held the Sunday after VBS and welcomes all participants and their families to worship together and enjoy our VBS reception afterwards.
VBS 2007: Grab your beach towel, hang on to your life preserver and get ready to "Take the Plunge". Join us and make a splash with Jesus as we dive into the scriptures and learn how Jesus used the common element of water to teach some very uncommon lessons. So bring your sun block and swim with us the week of July 16th through 20th; with our VBS Worship Celebration in Center Court on Sunday, July 23rd.

Advent Extravaganza, hosted on the first Sunday in December. We enjoy a light supper, Advent crafts, lessons and activities before gathering together for a Christmas Sing-along and the Christmas concert performed by all the choirs in the Music Ministry.

VBS Coordinator: Wendy Canary
CAMP (Christian Acting and Musical Project) is five days of creative fun, Christian musical and theater antics, new friendships and the Nathan Brewer experience. This workshop is an exciting week long CAMP designed for those with an interest in the theatrical arts and music. Each day the students have instruction in signing, acting, set design, and costuming as well as time for fellowship and meeting new friends. The week culminates in a presentation of a fully staged mini-musical for family and friends on Friday evening. This is a great chance for everyone, from novice to seasoned actor/actress, to enjoy music and drama while nurturing their understanding of Christianity.
CAMP 2007
Here’s a sneak preview of CAMP (Christian Acting and Musical Project) for this summer. Details will be available soon, and registration forms will be available in May.
All workshops will run from Monday to Friday, with a Friday evening performance. Participants are expected to attend all five days as well as the performance. The cost will be $35/person/session. These workshops are open to the community, but space is limited.

This year, in an effort to keep the numbers manageable—you may only register for one session. However, you may ask to be put on a waiting list for another session, and if we don’t reach our max by the previous week—we’ll put you in!
