Child Care Ministry
It is our joy to welcome your child to our nursery and Toddler Rooms. Our child care providers love caring for children and making them feel loved and safe.
On Sunday morning there are three nursery rooms available from 8:30 through 11:45 during worship services.
Infant Nursery Room: Newborns to walking ( 0 - 11 mos)
** (Includes a quiet crib room for naps and
nursing moms and separate diapering area)
Toddler I: 12 mos. to 23 mos.
Toddler I and II are inter-connected by
a separate diapering room.
Toddler II: 24 mos. to 36 mos.
**Class offers Christian Educational program
All three child care rooms are staffed by paid and volunteer child care providers.
Cradle Connection: Jill Ogino coordinator
Cradle Connection is a program which establishes and maintains communication between the church and families with newborns. At birth, babies are automatically enrolled in the Cradle Connection Program. Their parents receive a packet of Christian Parenting information soon after the baby is home. At the child's baptism, the Cradle Connection Coordinator ensures each child receives their first Bible. They continue to periodically receive Christian Parenting information and a birthday card through the child's third birthday.
New Mom's Ministry: Kristen Melitski coordinator
New Mom's Ministry is designed to enable mother with newborns through preschool age to come together in a small group. This ministry is intended as a play group, and meets in the Playroom and Nursery.
Moms and young children are welcome to come together every Thursday at 10:00, beginning March 9th in the Playroom. Join us for an hour of fun, joyful moments and tons of laughter as we share the unique experiences of being a mom. If interested, pls contact Kristen Melitski or simply just come!!
Baptisms: Jill Ogino coordinator
Every child baptized at LCPC will be presented to the congregation as we vow to honor our commitment to nurture this child and partner with his/her parents to bring him/her into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Just as Jesus welcomed children, we will strive to welcome you and your children into our church family to the best of our ability.
To do so, our goal is to provide safe, convenient, and instructive nurture to our infants and toddlers when their parents are attending worship, congregational meetings, church‑wide events, and other special programs.
Our consistent and experienced paid staff and our Children's Ministry volunteers look forward to sharing God's love with your child when they are in our care.
Registering for Childcare
At all events, other than Sunday morning worship, parents should preregister their children for childcare at least one week prior to the event by calling Kelly Tancredi at (908) 647‑0340 ext. 117.
Once registered, please call Cindy DuHaime in the Church office at (908) 647‑0340 ext. 120 as early as possible if you need to cancel. Early notification assures that we do not have to employ more caregivers than are actually needed for an event.
Sign in/Sign put
Please fill out the registration sheet completely before leaving your child with us.
The parent/guardian should bring AND pick up their children from childcare. For safety reasons, we cannot release children to older siblings.
We have beepers available to take with you when you drop your children off. These are provided in order to assure your Confidence in knowing that we can reach you if the need should arise.
