Handbells
|
“To enhance the spiritual experience of the members of the church” is the shared goal of the Liberty Ringers. The current group of ringers has been playing together since October 2002 although the church has had handbells since the early 60’s. The Liberty Ringers play a 5 octave set of Schulmerich bells and a 3 octave set of handchimes. Annually, the group hosts a bell workshop (Bellfest). A nationally renowned handbell composer/educator spends a Saturday working with handbell groups that gather at LCPC. Musical experience but not necessarily bell experience is a must for participation in this group. Liberty Ringers play monthly during the traditional worship services.
Rehearsals Tuesday evening 6:30-8:30.
