Board of Deacons

The Deacons are church members who exemplify the church's compassion by ministering to the needy, sick, friendless, and distressed. Chosen for their spirituality, honesty, warmth, and brotherly/sisterly love, they are dedicated to following Jesus' example of compassion and service.

The Board consists of 17 Deacons with five Deacons elected each year on a rotating basis for three year terms. Two high-school students are elected each year to one year terms on the Board.

Board of Trustees

The Trustees manage and oversee the real estate holdings of the church. They are elected from the congregation, as required and governed by the state laws under which the church is incorporated. The power and duties of the Trustees are separate from those of the Session and Board of Deacons, and typical responsibilities include acquiring and maintaining church properties and buildings.
